1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Centrizen (“Centrizen”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a free platform at centrizen.org operated by [legal entity name] as part of the Kamal Haasan Narpani Iyakkam social welfare initiative. By accessing or using Centrizen, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Centrizen is — and is not

Centrizen is a free, non-commercial platform whose only purpose is to help connect voluntary blood donors with people who need blood. Centrizen is only a means of introduction.

• Centrizen is not a hospital, clinic, blood bank, laboratory, medical provider, or healthcare service.
• We do not test, screen, verify, collect, store, transport, supervise, or guarantee any blood, donor, or donation.
• We do not verify the identity, health, blood group, or eligibility of any user. Listings are self-reported by users.
• All contact, screening, and donation happen directly between users and through licensed medical facilities.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms to use Centrizen. Donors should meet all applicable medical eligibility criteria and should donate only through a registered, licensed blood bank or medical facility after proper medical screening. Always consult a qualified medical professional before donating or receiving blood.

4. Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (including your name, phone number, blood group, and location) and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the information you submit and for any activity carried out using your listing or contact details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• Buy, sell, or offer to buy or sell blood or any human organ or tissue, or offer or demand any payment or consideration for blood. Commercial dealing in blood is prohibited under applicable Indian law, and such use of Centrizen is strictly forbidden.
• Use contact information obtained through Centrizen for any purpose other than arranging a voluntary, unpaid blood donation — including no marketing, spam, solicitation, or commercial use.
• Harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or harm any other user.
• Collect, scrape, harvest, or store other users’ data, or attempt to unmask, reverse, or bypass the masking of donor phone numbers.
• Post false, misleading, unlawful, or fraudulent information.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, its systems, or other users’ accounts or data.
• Use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

We may suspend, remove, or block any listing or user that we believe, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or misuses the service.

6. No medical advice; no screening

Nothing on Centrizen constitutes medical advice. We do not screen donors or test blood for blood-borne diseases, infections, compatibility, or fitness for transfusion. Any donation must be carried out through a licensed blood bank or medical facility that performs proper medical screening and testing.

7. Assumption of risk and disclaimer of warranties

You use Centrizen at your own risk. The service and all listings are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that any donor will be available, suitable, healthy, or willing, or that any need will be met.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Centrizen, its operators, organisers, volunteers, and management accept no responsibility or liability for: the quality, safety, or suitability of any blood; the transmission of any disease, infection, or condition; the conduct, identity, or accuracy of any user; or any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, injury, or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, any contact made through it, or any donation or transfusion. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied with the service is to stop using it.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Centrizen and its operators, volunteers, and management from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your content or listings, or your violation of these Terms or any law or rights of others.

10. Third-party services

Contacting a donor uses third-party services such as WhatsApp and your phone carrier. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

11. Intellectual property

The Centrizen name, logo, and platform content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission, except for your personal, non-commercial use of the service as intended.

12. Suspension and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (in whole or in part) at any time, and we may remove any listing or restrict any user at our discretion, with or without notice.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at [Chennai], Tamil Nadu, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Centrizen after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
